Our ropes challenge course based at the Claggett Center in Buckeystown, Maryland is one of the largest of its kind on the East Coast. The ropes challenge course is set in a beautiful country setting just outside of Frederick, MD, and is perfect for your corporate retreat and training engagement. Upward Enterprises is a professionally certified Ropes Challenge Course, and a current member of the industry's associations, including the Association of Challenge Course Technology (ACCT), the Association for Experiential Education (AEE) and the Professional Ropes Course Association (PRCA). Upward Enterprises also covers all of its employees with Workers Compensation Insurance and holds current liability and medical insurance for all of its clients. We serve a wide variety of clients such as small businesses, schools, colleges and universities, sports teams, camps, corporations, local government departments and private organizations from the Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington DC area's. Meet Our Owner Clive Felgate is the owner and operator of Upward Enterprises and has over 35 years experience in physical and outdoor education. He served 27 years with the British Royal Air Force as a physical training instructor where he enjoyed teaching groups and individuals topics including outdoor survival, basic winter training, team building, and leadership.
