Upward Enterprises use's adventure programs as a vehicle for experiential learning and teambuilding and specializes in ropes challenge courses and portable low ropes programs.  Our ropes challenge course based at the Bishop Claggett Center in Buckeystown, Maryland is one of the largest of its kind on the east coast.   The ropes course is set in a beautiful country setting just outside of Frederick, MD.

Upward Enterprises serves a wide variety of clients such as small businesses, schools, college's and universities, sports teams, camps, corporations, local government departments and private organizations from the Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington DC area's. Whichever activity you choose, your group can experience rewarding challenges in a safe, supportive environment and you will enjoy camaraderie and the benefit of expert leadership.

Clive Felgate is the owner and operator of Upward Enterprises and has over 35 years experience in physical and outdoor education. Clive built his wealth of experience from 27 years serving for the British Royal Air Force as a physical training instructor where he enjoyed teaching groups and individuals topics including outdoor survival, basic winter training, team building, and leadership.  Clive has taken his depth of knowledge and experience and transferred it to the Ropes Challenge course to be able to offer groups and individual's a high quality and enjoyable teambuilding experience.
